  • What are the benefits of exotic livestock?
    Exotic livestock are superior to conventional livestock in many ways. They are not as hard on your land, they have higher stocking rates, and values can be much stronger.
  • How do I register to bid?
    In order to bid on our auctions, you must become a Registered Bidder. Follow these instructions here.
  • Where are you located?
    Texas Game Exchange is located in Kerrville, TX, just off Lower Turtle Creek Road.
  • What if I cannot find what I am looking for?
    Send us an email at info@texasgameexchange.com We will do our best to help you find what you are looking for.
  • Will you charge my credit card automatically when I win an auction?
    We will not charge your credit card automatically following the completion of an auction. Within 1 hour of an auction closing, we will send you an email with payment instructions and detailed next steps.
  • How can I get in touch with you?
    Our preferred method of communication is email, which we monitor 7 days per week. If you would like to speak to someone on the phone, please send us an email at info@texasgameexchange.com requesting a call. We will call you promptly.
  • What if I place a bid by mistake?
    If you place a bid by mistake, please email us immediately and put Mistaken Bid in the subject. If you do not email us immediately, you may be subject to charges as referenced in the bidder registration agreement.
  • Is there a penalty for walking away from an auction?
    Yes, most of our animals are captured, screened, and transported to our facility before listing at considerable cost to sellers and Texas Game Exchange. Please reference your Bidder Registration Agreement for more details.
  • How do I pay for auctions that I win?
    You can pay for your auction via bank transfer or credit card. When you win an auction, we will send you an invoice within one hour of closing with specific instructions on how to pay.
  • Where are animals located?
    Most of the animals in our auctions have been brought to our facilities in Kerrville, TX. In some cases, animals remain at the location of the Seller until the auction is completed, and then is delivered directly to the Buyer.
  • What happens after I win an auction?
    Within 1 hour of an auction closing, we will send you an email with payment instructions and detailed next steps. Once payment is received, we will help you arrange for pick-up or delivery
  • Who is responsible for delivery
    The buyer is responsible for arranging delivery of the animal from the location of the animal during the auction. We can help you arrange transportation through one of our professional hauling partners.
  • When does ownership of the animal transfer?
    Ownership of animals transfers from the Seller to the Buyer the moment that an animal departs the property of Texas Game Exchange (if the animal was onsite for the auction). If the animal is not onsite for the auction, ownership is transferred once the animal departs the Seller’s property. Once an ownership of an animal is transferred to the buyer, they are fully responsible for the animal.
  • What if something happens to the animal?
    It is important to understand that there is always risk associated with handling live animals. Ownership of the animals is transferred when they depart our location If the animal is injured or otherwise unable to be safely transported (in the sole discretion of Texas Game Exchange) prior to the transfer of ownership, we will offer the buyer a refund the purchase price of the animal.
